VINTAGE
We have had a mild winter with a little less rainfall than usual and a summer with a lot of sunshine but with moderately cool nights that have been favourable to the crop and have helped give a final impulse to the clusters during the ripening phase in order for them to reach their point of optimum quality. Harvest-time was sunny, without rain or cold, which also contributed to the health of the fruit.
TASTING
Potent and concentrated, a fruity bouquet with subtle notes of spice. Intense in the mouth and with character, accentuated with lively, balanced, elegantly-structured tannins that deliver an agreeable, fresh unctuosity.
DRINKING
May require decanting, due to its high concentration and potency. A wine to be enjoyed and laid down.
